i'm getting ready to upgrade my trial hits to a monthly subscription. Do I have to update/change anything in my code?

Trial subscriptions can be upgraded to monthly or annual subscriptions. Your trial key will become your new subscription key. You will not have to change anything in your code. Even if you are not using your userid/password to authenticate, as we generally recommend, and you happen to be using your license key instead, you will not have to change anything in your code.
