I want to lookup a tax rate, but the zip code seems to cover two cities? How do I know which one to use? Thanks, Charles |

StrikeIron Sales & Use Tax Complete will return information for all tax jurisdictions that fall within a given zip code. You can then choose the correct set of data based on your business process. Tax data can be distinguished by county or city name for example, since this information is part of the return data. - Alex alex.durzy@strikeiron.com |

Thank you Alex, that was very helpful. I see that Sales Tax Complete returns multiple rates (one for each city) for a zip code. So do I need to loop through them and find the one for my city? Charles |

The service returns ALL of the tax jurisdictions for that particular zip code, not just those listed in different cities. So yes - you need to determine which is correct for your particular case. |
